Dispatch and delivery
All orders are dispatched from France, normally within 3–6 business days after confirmation. Estimated delivery is 7–10 business days after dispatch; this is not guaranteed. French public holidays, customs checks and busy periods may cause delays. Follow the tracking information and the carrier’s collection deadline, which varies by service. Contact us if delivery is delayed. Order details are available in your confirmation email or customer account.
Shipping fees
Shipping is charged separately. The table below is a guide to standard weight-based rates; product-specific shipping rules, free-shipping items and mixed orders may affect the total. The shipping charge shown at checkout before payment applies.

Customs duties and taxes
Unless explicitly collected at checkout, applicable import duties, taxes and carrier clearance fees are payable by the recipient. Shipping from France does not necessarily mean that the goods originate in France. Customs determines the applicable classification, value and charges. We cannot guarantee an exemption or a fixed amount. Please check local restrictions on ingredients, quantities, food and cosmetics before ordering; contact us if unsure.
Qualifying imports from France valued at CA$20 or less are generally exempt, with exceptions. Above the threshold, applicable duty and GST/HST/PST may be charged on the relevant taxable value. Preferential treatment under CETA depends on qualifying origin and supporting requirements, not simply dispatch from France. Provincial taxes vary; Nova Scotia’s HST is 14% from 1 April 2025. Carrier clearance or collection fees may be additional.

Returns and refunds
We do not offer voluntary change-of-mind returns except where required by applicable law. Statutory cancellation, withdrawal and remedies for faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied goods remain available. Please contact info@cosmedeparis.com with your order number; for damage or errors, please contact us as soon as possible, preferably within 3 days, with photos. This request is not a deadline that removes your legal rights. Opening a product does not automatically exclude a claim for a defect. Minor outer-box marks alone do not normally justify a voluntary return, but damage affecting the product, safety or conformity will be assessed. Contact us for return instructions before sending goods back; this does not restrict a statutory right to notify cancellation.
Where we agree to a voluntary change-of-mind return, we explain the return postage before you agree; normally the customer pays it. For faulty, incorrect goods or statutory cancellations, costs and refunds follow the applicable law. We do not impose a US$10 handling penalty on a statutory cancellation. Approved refunds are made to the original payment method, normally within 10 business days, or sooner where legally required. Your payment provider may need additional processing time.
Unclaimed parcels
If a parcel is returned because of an incorrect address, refusal or non-collection, contact us. We review the return, the cause and any refund due. We will explain any lawful deduction of actual shipping costs; neither automatic forfeiture of the full payment nor an additional charge applies without a lawful basis. If goods are lost or disposed of, we investigate with the carrier; your statutory rights remain unaffected.
