The **Sebium** series is designed for oily and combination skin among those with sensitive skin. If you have dry or very dry skin, please try the **Sensibio** series.

**Product Description**

During puberty, skin undergoes changes, leading to issues such as acne and other oil-related troubles, which can vary among individuals. For some, these issues may persist beyond puberty. Those with oily or combination skin are prone to excess sebum production and enlarged pores, leading to thickened, dull skin with shine. Acne scars may also present as damaged skin.

Bioderma offers a new generation of acne care specifically designed for those troubled by oily skin, featuring a patented complex called **Fluidactiv®**. Composed of ginkgo biloba extract and mannitol, Fluidactiv® is a unique ingredient found in all Sebium products. It prevents the oxidation of sebum trapped in pores, keeping it fluid and preventing the formation of comedones that can lead to acne, thereby promoting skin that is less prone to oil-related issues.

**Sebium Foaming Washing Gel** is a gel-type cleanser. It can be used as a light makeup remover and produces a rich lather, effectively removing sebum while maintaining skin hydration without leaving it tight after rinsing.

It is gentle on the skin with a slightly acidic pH, free of colorants, alcohol, and oils, making it ideal for sensitive skin that may react sensitively even to slight irritation due to a compromised barrier function. Although it is not fragrance-free, it has a light, refreshing scent.

The blue color of the Sebium series liquid comes from the natural color of copper sulfate, one of the ingredients, so you can use it with confidence.

**How to Use**

You can use it for your morning and evening cleansing routine. Wet your skin and hands slightly before use. Take an appropriate amount of gel cream, add a small amount of water to create lather, and gently massage it onto your skin to remove oil and impurities. Be sure to rinse thoroughly to remove any residue from the cleanser. After washing, gently pat excess moisture from your skin with a towel.

**Customer Feedback**

- The lather doesn’t seem to be very good. Even when I use a net to create bubbles, it doesn’t foam as much as I’d like. However, the washing experience is good; my skin feels smooth afterward, and it doesn’t feel tight. I like the scent, so I think I’ll repurchase.

- I get the impression that the lather is not great. However, I don’t think that good lather necessarily equates to high cleansing power, and it might be a sign of fewer surfactants. I found the slippery feeling after washing somewhat concerning, leading me to use a lot of water. It’s not easy to use in the morning when I’m short on time.

- I started experiencing acne due to braces I got in middle age and purchased this after being recommended by a pharmacist. The gel is a beautiful blue color, and while the lather isn’t great, I believe it’s gentle on the skin because of that. I think the slippery feeling is just something that can’t be helped unless you rinse thoroughly, but I like the condition of my skin afterward. It feels refreshed and not tight. I double cleanse when I use waterproof sunscreen, as I feel it might not be fully removed otherwise. I’ll probably repurchase. It wasn’t an instant fix, but my temporary acne has improved.

- I was excited to try Bioderma, but it seems it didn’t suit my skin. It’s a shame—I’ve ended up using it as a fancy hand cream now. There are certainly products that suit some people and not others.
