Product Description
This gel is designed for use on scars resulting from surgical stitches. It combines high-concentration silicone with active [C + -Restore]™ and hyaluronic acid to improve the appearance of scars while maintaining optimal hydration levels.
Rich in Avene thermal spring water, this gel soothes the skin and provides comfort. Consequently, scars appear smoother, more comfortable, and more flexible. It has been developed to minimize the risk of allergic reactions and tested under dermatological management post-surgery. Fragrance-free.

To assess the maturity of a scar, press on it and observe the time it takes for the skin to return to its normal color. Typically, this takes about 3 seconds. If the scar regains color in less than 1 second (usually within a month post-procedure), it is not yet healed. Apply the product to the area over and around the scar, using your index finger to gently press the gel in the scar's direction.
If the scar changes color in 1-2 seconds: Pinch the scar between your thumb and index finger, applying gentle pressure in the scar's direction, repeating until the gel fully absorbs (approximately 5 minutes). If the scar regains color after 3 seconds (typically 3 months post-surgery), it is considered mature. To prevent the scar from widening, use your index and middle fingers to massage the gel in the scar's direction until fully absorbed (approximately 5 minutes). In unavoidable sun exposure, please use appropriate sunscreen.
The greatest thing about it is that it's not greasy at all. It's the best scalp soothing product I've tried so far. But this product is impossibly hard to come by, and the downside of purchasing it via Cosme de Paris is perhaps the long delivery time.
