While UVB causes inflammation on the skin's surface, leading to sunburn, short UVA damages the epidermis and can cause spots, and long UVA penetrates deep into the dermis, leading to wrinkles and sagging, thus affecting skin aging.

La Roche-Posay continues its research with the understanding that protecting the skin from long UVA damage is crucial for achieving youthful, firm skin. They have developed a unique UV filter system called "Mexoryl," which provides excellent UVA defense and photostability. **Usage Instructions**

Apply about 30 minutes before sun exposure. Shake the bottle well, then pump an appropriate amount onto your body and gently spread it. When applying to the face, pump a small amount onto your hands first. Using too little will reduce the UV protection effect, so be sure to apply a sufficient amount evenly. Reapply every 2–3 hours outdoors, especially after sweating during sports or swimming in the sea.

Avoid use on children under 3 years old. The pump may be stiff upon first use, but pressing down firmly from above several times will help it function smoothly.
