Founded in 1720 during the reign of Louis XV, Oriza is the oldest perfumery maison in France, revered as a purveyor to the royal court.

Revived in 2012 by two Parisians, this unique fragrance house has resurfaced as a part of history in modern times.

The novel "Gay! Let's Get Married!" by Germaine Acogny, awarded the National Literary Prize in 1927, significantly influenced the glory of the Oriza L. Legrand family. This comedy, which found success on stage, was performed numerous times across Paris and all the capitals of Europe.

In 1928, the Maison Oriza L. Legrand, through Baroness Chailly, introduced a new fragrance titled “Marions-Nous,” which embodies themes of love and marriage, featuring the maiden scents of orange blossom, rose, jasmine, and hyacinth.
